These are paintings created by my cousin Kimmo Niikkonen in 2001-2003. They are classified as naïve art style and they describe the wilderness and culture of Finnish Lapland.
It started to snow yesterday. Finally we got few inches of snow here and there. Obi is enjoying the snow at the house and in Marymoor Park.

On Thursday evening Matti and I joined Peku to take his boat from Lake Union through the Ballard Locks to Bell Harbor in dowtown Seattle. It turned out to be a nice evening and good times with the boys on the water.
