Went to see this great firework show in Monroe, WA last weekend with Andrei & Bruce. It was put together by Skywizard Pyro.
Mia did some tedious work to create art off of a book, that is pretty thick with lots of pages. The book is called A Thousand Days by John F. Kennedy. Mia did some glass blowing as part of her artwork. Here’s the result. This was displayed at an art exhibit along with the portrait of Donna she made I posted earlier. Great job, Mia!
Couple of more great artwork from Mia. The first one is a portrait of Donna from photo when she was a teenager. Mia gave this one to Donna as Christmas present. What a great gift. The second is called “The Quartet”. Both are charcoal drawings.
Mia made a drawing of Michelangelo’s David, white chalk on black paper. First image is the model and work in progress, the second is the final work. Great job again, Mia!
Mia did a project where she drew pieces of popcorn on black paper using white charcoal, and then imagine it to something else so it became The Pelican Moon. When you look at those images of the popcorn you can clearly see the end result in them. Great job Mia!
