I just completed my latest song on February 28, in collaboration with the team in Finland,
along with a video I made for it.
To be released on March 21, 2025.
My song, called Obi, is simply about my dog and the unconditional love pets can give us,
not about scenery or anything else.
As the process was nearing the end I shared it with a few friends to get some feedback.
I got more opinions back than the number of people I asked.
All constructive from their own angle and points of view.
Bottom line, can’t please everyone – don’t even bother trying – it is not worth the effort.
Coincidentally, Joe Bonamassa released his new single along with the video the very next day on March 1, called “Shake this ground”.
I really like both the song and the video.
In fact, it seems to have the same theme in the video as mine, the song is somewhat similar genre in my opinion (Joe must be spying on me).
He says he originally cowrote the song with James House about a year ago. I wrote mine about 3 years ago.
Let’s unlock the mystery about this song further.
Is Joe’s song about bigger things, climate change and ongoing uncertainty in the world with wars, racism and unethical politics etc., going on, sucking the rest of the world into it, shaking the ground and grinding the earth or the world as we know it, down into pieces.
Wait – what clowns? Is it about Trump, Musk, Putin, Un, Jinping and the likes – The Dick’n’Tator Show – and getting rid of them?
Or is it about simpler things in life?
Like the girl or the dog he loves & misses.
Maybe a Jeep commercial, vehicle that can take you to many places.
Or about camping and being out in the nature with friends, maybe even safaris.
Perhaps take on bigger things like fuel fossils still being around and used until they last.
Oil industry protecting it because when it ends,
whole industries including cargo ship industry hauling the oil, shaking and eventually rattling down.
Maybe it is simply a soda commercial – Zero Cokes and diet Pepsi’s.
All the crap you pour into your body.
Wait I got finally, it is commercial for Original Coke.
Just plain cane sugar and flavored carbonated water.
Hidden advertisement – those bastards.
